Induction Loops

The Disability Discrimination Act 1995. How does it affect you?
The Act aims at ending the discrimination which many disabled people face. It gives disabled people new rights in various areas including access to goods, facilities and services. Under Sections 6 and 21 of the Act, all alterations need to be in place by October 2004. Service providers have a legal duty to implement something that ensures that the people with hearing difficulties are not disadvantaged and at any point where staff deal with the public it will be necessary to provide some system to effectively communicate with anyone having to rely on a 'deaf aid' device.

For those with impaired hearing an induction loop system is a simple cost effective method of ensuring that access.

Induction Loops have long been regarded as a major of improving quality of life for those with impaired hearing, allowing them to gain maximum benefit from shows in theatres, sermons and ceremonies in churches and of course assisting at pay and information desks.

Galloway Electronics Ltd have been designing and installing Induction loops for well over a decade and have become specialists in this field using traditional hard wired, Infra red or low spill systems where confidentiality is of paramount importance.

We have installations in many Churches as well as Theatres, Benefit and Rent Offices, School Assembly Halls, Company Training Suites and Meeting Rooms.

Whatever the requirement or style of building Galloway's will be able to design and install a system to meet the clients requirements.
